Riders:Angie FisherChris Marchant Des Higgs John Groves Louise Bowers Patrick O'Leary Paul Bentley Pauline Clark Richard Kidd Steve Swanton Terry Ryland Riders = 11 Weather:![]() ![]() Report:A very very hot day so we tried to enforce some drink stops and keep the pace moderate throughout. Des was struggling with I presume a combination of the conditions and the pace so wisely opted to head back to Longcot when we were near his home. Steve Swanton later had a text to confirm he made it safely. We stopped at Bloomfields in Shrivenham for coffees and extra water. But note the tap in the loo is at such an angle its very difficult to fill a bottle and that is the only source offerred. as we headed back towards Wantage a few peeled off to head for home. I don't have any ride stats as my Garmin navigated very well but didn't record the ride (GRRRRR!). | ||
