Description:Half day ride (60-70km / 38-45 miles), with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Likely to visit distant destinations. Not suitable for irregular riders. Climbing likely. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Sunday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.We’ll head out towards Hatford, then we’ll pass through Littleworth, Thrupp, over the River Thames at Radcot, then onto Clanfield. This will be our first option for an early tea stop if required! Blake’s Kichen. We’ll then turn onto some quiet lanes passing through Broadwell, Filkins, Langford & Little Farringdon. We’ll then have our first climb of the day, Snow wick Ln. This will take us up to Coleshill, where we can enjoy an later tea stop, Carpenters Canteen. We’ll then head towards our second & final climb of the day Bradbury Hill. We’ll then descend to Great Coxwell Barn passing through Little Coxwell, Fernham, Baulking arriving back in Grove for around 13:30hrs. Ride distance. 44mi / 72km.
