Report:
14 starters, including new boy Phil at a reasonable pace to the Pottery at Aston for Tea. As is my want I only allowed two minute breathers when the tail enders caught up, so the rest of us didn't get cold!

Aston Pottery did a marvelous job of cramming in 13 (as Brian had left), although I had phoned the day before to order extra cakes. Much discussion of Audax, Christmas dinner and the Project Colmar.

Barbara and Mary departed after tea to make their way back to Witney, which reduced the pressure on the rest of us to ride fast.

Tackling the backroads from Aston to Tadpole bridge proved wet, as the road was in flood. Some of us pushed through the first section, only to see we were not being followed. A quick phone call to find out Steve S was putting on his overshoes (waste of time Steve, my knees got wet! (but mine didn't - Steve)), and Des and Robert turned to go the other way (We know how to sort the men from the boys).

Steve B did his bit by pushing two bikes and carrying Jane, and at the end we were all cold and wet, so we cut a quick dash back to Grove.
