Riders:Barry EastwoodDean Douglas Des Higgs Jan McCabe Kevin Fairs Mavis Rose Neil Warner Rex Belcher Wenfeng Yang Riders = 9 Report:A fine morning broke into a mizzly afternoon unfortunately. Lunch at the Red Lion at Islip was good value at 7.50 for two courses. Limited choices (four different roasts)and not for the veggies. Otmoor was definitely in wetland mode. A rolling 9 decreasing in numbers through the afternoon had a pleasant ride. Jan joined us for a while at the start slipping off to do college work, Barry joined us for lunch. Kev and Wen slid off after lunch saving a whole 5 miles and but for Rex puncturing we'd have caught them up as they got home 15 minutes before me. Good to see Kev,Wen and Mavis out on a Sunday again. Not so good to find the Warner wet ones are back. | ||
