Description:A relaxed but hilly ride of about 30 miles through the northern Cotswolds with a stop for lunch at Broadway Tower led by Richard Morris (Tel: 01865 739123 ), starting from the Riverside Café, High Street, Bourton-on-the-water, GL54 2BP.There's a steady climb from Bourton up to the top of the Cotswold escarpment and then a great ride along the top to Broadway Tower (optional £4.50 entrance fee to go up). No fee to access cafe. Returning via the Upper Windrush Valley passing the Guitings and Kineton. Riders very welcome to come along just for the day, but please let Steve know (07857 527990) that you are planning to come. Parking available in the main village car park on the south east side of the village off Rissington Road just before Birdland (or take a chance in one of the side roads). |
