Description:A ride out to Pusey via the bridleway from Charney Bassett then on to Stanford for refreshments at the Coffee House. Return via Park Lane. 16 miles.Please let me know if you plan to come. Easy sociable ride of 24-32 km (15-20 miles) at a pace of 14-17km/h (9-11 mph). |

Though overcast and a little breezy, with a nagging south-westerly wind across our bows or in our faces at times, it was pleasantly mild. The bridleway through the Pusey estate was fun as usual, and new to Susie. We stopped for a rest by the small Italianate church before continuing on to Stanford for coffee. It was warm and sheltered enough to sit outside. Susie headed back early and the rest of us followed a little later, now enjoying the wind on our backs. We coasted along Park lane with only the occasional pedal stroke necessary. Back in Grove before 1pm after an enjoyable morning out. Thanks all for your company and to Terry for sweeping. | ||
