Average speed will be 25-30kph (16-19mph) on flat rides.

Flat and fast route in the Vale with options to go a bit further if we're making good time.

Please bring lights as it could be dusk towards the end of the ride.

sunny
Report:
Our first ever 4* ride (aka Frank's 40th Birthday Ride). A good sized group of 11 on a fabulous evening, sunny and warm. Legs were out for the first time in 2013 :)

We maintained a strong pace of 30kph outwards into the wind to Uffington. After a quick breather at Longcot we blasted back across the Vale with the wind behind us at upwards of 40kph!

We made good time so we extended the ride via West Hanney. The usual excitement of Denchworth Dash saw the group splinter a little but overall great group riding at a fast pace. Well done everybody :)

Overall average was 28.7kph which is spot on what I expected for a flat 4* ride.

Distance:
43.40 km (26.97 mi)
