Riders:David SmithDavid Wynn (deceased) Frank Schroer Louis Hall Phil Stubbings Richard Delacour Richard Preece Simon Cox Ursula Hallam Riders = 9 Report:9 of us set off to conquer several hills in 2 hours before some of us went to join the others at the pub in Denchworth at the end of the ride (with the others making their way back to Grove then - or already elsewhere before that).Some known favourite local hills were taken on as well as some (despite the vicinity) rarely ridden ones, which made for a total amount of nearly 400 meters of climbing (with Court hill taking up a significant part of that). Some of us mentioned that adding on Hackpen and/or Dragon Hill to the end of the route would turn it into a real local good hill work-out - another time ? The sunshine made this a glorious evening to be out on the bike and everyone took their own pace on the climbs - making for an average of the ride in between the advertised speeds for a 3 star ride. Well done to everyone that came on the ride. | ||
