Report:
Lovely late summer evening and we missed all the nearby showers! The roads were also very quiet throughout, very little traffic which was good :)

We got the boring bit to Steventon done quickly and then through Abingdon and the seldom cycled road past Dalton Barracks. We tackled Old Boars Hill which was after the long drag up Lamborough Hill through Wootton.

After the climb we were treated to fantastic views of Oxford bathing in golden evening sunshine. The fast descent followed and then it was a quick ride back through Marcham, Garford and West Hanney.

Legs were pretty tired after 44km at 26kph average so there was a half-hearted Denchworth Dash before returning at 8.20pm as the light began to fade.

A very pleasant evening ride (sun)
