Report:
With the welcome addition of Adam Clark forming a formidable climbing triumvirate with Peter and Nick, I did hear the words 5* mentioned on more than one occasion but credit to them, there are no egos they were happy waiting and when the time came, dragged the rest of us along.

With noticeably improving climbing from Jason and Jonty we made decent time up Manor and up past the West Berks GC, where Mr David Smith did a long fast turn to Boxford although I'm sure he must have spent the last 3 or 4 miles wondering how Mr Jarvis didn't know what the flick of the elbow meant; David I've been wondering the same for years!

After a free ride the triumvirate vote tipped it in favour of the steep climb to Peasemore, I think they stitched us up but it was worth it, the sun was setting, not a car around and the views reminded us why we go cycling.

Coming down Chain was a joy, if not a little lonely!

A good group of like minded cyclists, easy to lead, thanks gents.
