Description:UPDATED 02/July/2018 - This weeks ride is one of the longer 1* rides at 14 miles and includes a section on bridleway. The bridelway section is about 1.5km long and is rideable on anything other than the narrow racing tyres. Pace will be adjusted to suit the terain and the groups abilities. Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise. We cover a distance of about 10 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10 mph, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way. |

We spotted Hares haring around the fields and as Martyn told us about the combine harvester that set fire to a field, he carefully lit his pipe! Quite a headwind in place but that just kept us cool.Thanks to everyone for coming and Ursula for sweeping, hope you all enjoyed the evening too. | ||
