Description:The ride will be slightly easier tonight to help riders from the 2* group that want to try a 3* ride.This week we will be going up to Charney Bassett and Fyfield, across the A420 and then to Longworth and Hinton Waldrist. Back home via Gainsfield and Charney Bassett. This ride is an introduction to a 3* ride so it doesn't have any hills in it at all - for those budding green jerseys, there are 3 designated 'sprint zones '(well, the Tour de France is coming up soon!), but we will all regroup at regular intervals. |

Welcome to those that decided to bridge the gap and see what a 3* ride was like - I hope you enjoyed it and that we'll see you again!The route was as per the below, with 'sprint zones' at; the crossroads to Fyfield, the run out of Hinton Waldrist and the usual dash back to Grove from Denchworth bridge. Everyone joined in the first dash, but the presmise really was join in if you want to, don't if you don't. Great fun was had by all. The wind put us to the test on the way back to Grove, but nothing that such a large group couldn't handle. | ||
