Riders:David BrownKaren Froud Ursula Hallam Riders = 3 Report:A beautiful dry summers eve! Out of Grove the usual way - Crab Lane (still a few muddy puddles) along to Charlton in Wantage, and from there Karen showed us a new route through a cornfield before the climb up onto the Ridgeway. Turning left along the Ridgeway we then took the lovely downhill of Old Street before climbing back up 'the chalky way' to the Ridgeway again and some lovely views . Return home was via a gravelly downhill to Betterton (with the sun in our eyes to make it more interesting!) and the Lockinges. Quite a few other mountain bikers out tonight...perhaps we can tempt a few more on this ride next week with the current dry conditions? | ||
