Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours ride at a riding pace in excess of 24km/h (15mph). May be hilly.Sorry to be late with the route but I m riding on 4 gears at the moment and not sure if it'll be fixed in time, but I'll take a chance. Repeat of one only 3 of us did in the rain so we'll try to get up Chain, straight to Newbury, Shefford, Manor Hill descent and home. If any leaders want to take a ride please do, with my lack of IT skills and sense of direction we could benefit from some countryfied wiggly routes, so don't be shy! |

Riders:Andy CowanJason Jones Ken Pelton Laura Pittard Nick Fisher Phil Ward Riders = 6 Weather: Report:Quite heavy drizzle, a bit nippy, wet roads and a concerned leader after last weeks splits in the hills resulted in a consensus that this would be a more together 4*, and so it proved.No-one had any problems with Chain and from there to Newbury we were all on the wheel with Phil doing a nice relaxed job on the front, so far so good. We turned towards Shefford with, and I was delighted to see Nick back for his 2nd ride, taking his turn pacing perfectly. Then a first for me, simultaneous punctures, Jason coming through his debut repair in front of a group with flying colours and Phil showing he's an old hand but unfortunately a tyre split meant he had to limp home so sent us all on. Again we kept it together, down Manor and home to watch Nibali hand the title over. For me a really good ride with the whole group on the same page, easy and thanks very much everyone. Av 17.5 ish. | ||
