Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Off road ride around local trails, ride distance 10 - 20 miles.Knobbly tyres required. We are keen to welcome new riders of all abilities. A nice and easy Off-Road ride at a distance 13 miles/21km. Larkhill, Goddard’s Brook, Lockinge, Crabhill Lane to Grove, Wilts & Berks Canal through to Childrey via the Challows. Optional stop for coffee either at Childrey shop or on our return to Wantage @ Marmalade. |

Report:Autumn had definitely arrived. Misty, very chilly though dry summed up the weather conditions for this first easy Off-Road ride. Three out of four of us wore full length leggings along with various thermal clothing. Conditions out on the trails were relatively good though due to the windfalls along a section of Goddard’s Brook caution was required. Even with the misty dull conditions the different colours on the trees & hedges were still pretty spectacular. Childrey Shop was incredibly busy so, we decided to carry on to Marmalade where we all enjoyed our elevenses. Service along with hot drinks & hot sausage rolls were excellent.A nice morning out on the trails with good company. Thanks everyone. | ||
