Description:

Weekly 1.5-2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). May be hilly.

Still keen to stretch out the evenings, so a slightly longer route, but with no significant hills. So we'll aim to maintain a good pace in the early part of the ride through the lanes, giving us a buffer later on.

Lights will be needed for the latter section, so please come prepared!

Report:
Last ride of the season, and a wonderful group to spend it with.

We stuck together well, holding a steady pace through the villages north of Wantage, before climbing up through Boars Hill and then down the other side into Sunningwell.
Through Abingdon and the exposed section of the ride through Culham to Clifton Hampden, but we all tucked in and made short work of it.
Darkness was drawing in by the time we came off the Wittenham Clumps, and we took it upon ourselves to escort back to Didcot a cyclist who was under-prepared in the illumination department (and possibly planning/common sense).
Back via Hagbourne Hill and Harwell Campus, then a final run into Wantage via Ardington.
