Riders:Chris MallinsonDavid Bridge Diane Stuckey Ginny Henderson Henk Altmann (deceased) Jeny Nicholls Richard Divall Roger Payn Riders = 8 Report:8 of us left Grove for the Saturday ride led by Richard on 3 oct 2004.Despite a bad weather forcast we had a lovely gentle ride and were not much bothered by the wind . We took a squiggly route via Steventon , Milton, Drayton ,Abingdon, Marcham and Tubney to Millets for tea. The heavens opened during the last five minutes of riding and we had to scamper to get inside for welcome refreshments. By the time we finished the rain was gone and we set off again for home, some of us a little chilly and leg weary by now. Thanks to Richard for leading us. Cheers Gin | ||
