Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5-2 hour ride at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph)NB: This is planned as a bridge ride at a slower pace than normal to give 1* riders the opportunity to try out a 2* ride. If we have enough riders and leaders, we will offer two rides at different speeds. At the same time 3* are offering a slower paced 3* ride to give 2* riders the opportunity to try out a 3* ride We will do a simple loop around the north Vale, including the delightful path across from Longworth to Hinton Waldrist. Pub night at the Fox in Denchworth for those who are able to stop, otherwise an easy run back to Grove. Pub night |

A lovely group appeared and it was particularly nice to welcome Laetitia on her first ride with the club. We split into two groups and thanks to Steve S for ably leading the second group. All went well and the Vale looked amazing. For me, the highlight was the hidden church, pond and manor house at the back of Longworth and the path along to Hinton Waldrist - one of my favourite corners of our patch.About half of the group stayed at The Fox for refreshments and the other half headed back to Grove. Thanks to all for your company on such a great evening. | ||
