3* Saturday Half Day Ride - north to Thames Valley	3*

Description: Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Half day ride (60-70km / 38-45 miles), with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph).
Riders: Chris Bailey Chris Gray Eddie Little Jenny Gower Jo Little John Tranter Paul Wensley Terry Penn Riders = 8 Weather: Report: Originally 9 riders had booked on this morning ride. Unfortunately one rider misread the start time, resulting in him missing the ride. Hopefully I’ll get to meet you on another ride very soon. It was great that Paul was able to join this ride, especially while still recovering from his injury. Weather conditions were absolutely perfect, along with very quiet roads. We all enjoyed some great views as we rode through the Vale,Thames Valley and the River Thames, which we crossed twice. We arrived at a bustling Blake’s. Seating was limited to inside only, as, outside was completely full. We all enjoyed an excellent selection of beverages, pastries, steaming hot cheese scones to their famously delicious cinnamon buns. Service was as usual perfect. Our return route via Shifford and Great Brook didn’t disappoint. A nice ride along with a perfect group. Many thanks to Jo for leading a second group when required.
