Riders:Derek BoutleDiane Stuckey Jan McCabe Judi Boutle Kevin Fairs Nigel Stuckey Richard Divall Wenfeng Yang Riders = 8 Report:Although it was very cold, (-2C according to the thermometer in our window at home), it was a dry evening with no wind at all. I had planned the shortest route possible without going on any major roads for too far! Three of us set off to The Wheatsheaf in East Hendred. We cycled through Grove and along the cycle path next to the A338. Up through Charlton where we crossed the A417 and went down through the bridle way to Lockinge, through Ginge and on to West Hendred. At this point we did a short trip down the A417 until we turned right into East Hendred to the Pub. They had a good fire going and it gave us all a chance to warm up and to enjoy an excellent meal joined by the remaining 5 who all drove to the pub. (They were the sensible ones!)Diane | ||
