Joining us on their first club ride were Helen and Maryna; Maryna wasn't sure she could manage the distance, but thanks to everyone's encouragement and plenty of stops in the shade, got round without too much trouble. The breeze made it slightly cooler outside Stanford Coffee Shop than indoors, and a table next to the 2* riders became free just as we arrived – another welcome break. Geoff made his own way back after coffee, as did Angie, kindly accompanied by Michael, while the remaining four of us took it gently, returning to Old Mill Hall about 12.45. Thanks, everyone, for your company. | ||
