Climbing almost inevitable. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Monday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained. The flatlands of the Thames: Coleshill via the Springline Road and Watchfield. In to Lechlade for an early lunch/ late breakfast and then a circuitous route to Clanford. The return is via Littleworth and Stanford-in-the-Vale where we can grab a coffee if the group wants. This will definitely be at the lower end of 3* as I am not currently that bike fit! |

Report:What a great final 3* ride before entering tier 4. Bit windy, bit cold but also good company, coffee stop and rainbows! The leader was a bit faffy over getting going (user gps error ). This resulted in the first route change - using the Letcombes and Childrey instead of the Springline Road. This kept us away from the large amount of traffic for longer. An uneventful ride to Lechlade - despite the busyness of the road in! An early, socially distanced coffee stop in the market square. Glad to report that Lynwoods is as good for takeaway as eat in . Lechlade even put on a full rainbow for us We then went for an explore of the north of Lechlade before picking our way across to Clanfield. Littleworth Hill was our last obstacle before a return to the Vale. As ever we seemed to be riding in to the wind much longer than we had it on our back but didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves. Here's hoping it won’t be long before we are group riding again. | ||
