Description:Hilly ride which will be run at a 3* pace (20-22km/h, 13-14mph) around the perimeter of Salisbury Plain - http://bikeroutetoaster.com/Course.aspx?course=71976. We will stop for lunch on the way.You'll need to park and then cycle to Pewsey Wharf to start the ride at 9:30 prompt. Please contact Angela in advance if you plan to join the ride - it will not be run without support. |

Report:A great ride of a total of 114km/72miles. The sun was shining and it was a great ride through some lovely wiltshire countryside. We spotted 3 of the white horses carved into the hillside - none as grand as our own Vale White Horse. We had the usual stop to mend a puncture, lunch and a photo stop. The photo stop was inspired by the field of traditional "hay stacks"A great day ended with a drink at the Pewsey Wharf Bistro.
