Description:A Flattish Off Road ride of 24Kms between the Hendreds and the Harwell site area with tea stop. Mountain Bike or Hybrid recommended. |

Report:At last a sunny day for an OffRoad ride!In addition two new riders came, Jill from Oxford CTC and Susan S, being her first experience of Off road cycling. The route followed the Sustran route to Harwell but a deversion was added, going towards Rowstock and coming back along the rather grand named Hungerford Road(track). Crossing the A4185 and looping round towards Chilton the riders saw a huge display of white poppies in the fields. Returning pass the Chilton garden centre (there was some discussion as to taking tea there) and round the edge of the Harwell site to take tea outside at the general store in Ardington. | ||
