Description:Our annual festive ride in aid of Whizz-Kidz, the children's mobility charity. Ride out with us to the NT car park at White Horse Hill, Uffington, for mince pies and mulled wine.This will be the tougher of the two off-road options to White Horse Hill. Guest riders are very welcome, but please let me know if you are planning to come beforehand.The ride goes out via Lark Hill, joining the Ridgeway by the Lord Wantage Monument, then following the Ridgeway to White Horse Hill. Return via the Ridgeway, Sparsholt, Childrey and East Challow. Please arrive by 09:50am for the ride briefing. Overall riding distance 21.7miles/35km. |

John Rushton. Martin Gillott. What a fantastic turnout along with great weather, not too muddy. 18 riders with one pulling out very early as they were recovering from flu. No incidents on the way out, after the mulled wine and mince pies we had several unintended dismounts and a lost phone on the way home. No injuries and the phone was recovered. A very enjoyable ride. | ||
