Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Half day ride (26 miles), via Ginge and Harwell to Blewburry with a tea stop at Savages Style Acre Tea rooms, back via East Hagbourne, Steventon and East Hanney at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). NOTE: Starting at The Beacon. Finishing in Grove. Some unmade paths, so best suited to bigger tyres.
Riders: Anke Otto David Jackson Steve Swanton Riders = 3 Weather: Report: Three riders braved the ride this morning over some tracks with rougher surface and against rather blustery winds. Route diverted a bitvfrom advertised and hit an unexpected stop at the Bridge of Doom who claimed a victim from a different group and had an ambulance attending. The person walked away, but looked dazed. Coffee stop at Style Acre Tea Rooms in Blewburry. Back via the back of Blewbury to East Hagbourne, Didcot GWP, Harwell village, Steventon to Grove.
