Off Road Sunday Ride	2*

Leader: Jane John	Start Time: 9:00 am	Start Location: The Nelson Car Park, Wantage
Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Off-road half day ride around local tracks, usually 15-30 miles. Knobbly tyres required. We are keen to welcome new riders of all abilities. Please note the change of meeting point and time. Sunday's forecast is for 30' hence the 9am start, do make sure you're carrying enough to drink. We will get up to the Ridgeway via Goddards Road (Henrietta Knight's track), swooping down Old Street, then continuing up to the bluebell woods. Most of the harder climbing is in the first half of the ride. We will be returning via Chilton with an optional refreshment stop at the Crown. Depending on how the group is doing I do have some short cuts too.
Riders: Andrew Wornham Jane John Jo Little Nigel Reid Riders = 4 Weather: Report: A great ride despite Nigel's squirter of a puncture at the bottom of Old Street. A good reminder of how to plug a tubeless tyre as I haven't had to do one for a while. My freehub went too, so no more freewheeling downs the hills for me... I think there were a few new tracks for everyone too. We didn't stop for refreshments, all keen to get back before the heat really built up. Thank you all.
