Description:An easy-paced social rode of 10 miles or so at 10mph. Newcomers very welcome.Park Lane and Goosey. This evening we shall stay in the Vale, going the longer way round to Park Lane from Denchworth and returning via Goosey and Asti stud. There will be a mile or so's stretch along the A417 and an optional extra to be decided on the night... |

Report:Welcome to Paula, who joined a select group of 3 for this evenings ride. We followed the route as planned with a short stop by the church at Goosey, to enjoy the green from another angle. With low late evening sunshine, there were fantastically long shadows running ahead of us as we cycled back to Denchworth. The optional extra was a mile and back to the top of the railway bridge by Circourt Farm to enjoy the wonderfully clear view across the Vale and along the Downs.
