Half day ride (60-70km / 38-45 miles), with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph).Heading out along the springline before heading over Foxhill to Aldbourne and Ramsbury. Stop at Cafe Bella in Ramsbury before heading home via Lamborne and the Letcombes. |

Report:The Springline was a little busy with cars but four of the six riders made quick progress to Ashbury where we had agreed to meet Jenny and Terry. The traffic then quietened down and we had a glorious ride over Foxhill to Aldborne and then via Ewin's Hill to Ramsbury. Although Ewin's Hill is a bit of a climb we agreed it was worth it for the fabulous views, the lovely wooded lanes and the fantastic descent!Cafe Bella in Ramsbury was a good stop - which none of us had been to in a while - and once refreshed we then headed back over yet more hills to get home. According to Garmin we climbed over 800m in 67k Special thanks from the ride leader to John (who fixed my loose mudguard) and Nick (who paid for my coffee when I had an Apple Pay failure). | ||
