Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. The Ride Leaders work hard to organise the rides and it helps them greatly to know numbers at least a day in advance. Whilst there may be rare occasions where this may not be practical, please do everything you can to let the Ride Leader know if you are joining a ride at least 24 hours before.Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time for the ride leaders briefing and a prompt start to the ride. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). White Horse Hill via Uffington - NB: hot weather is forecast so bring plenty of water. I have shortened the route to keep things as simple as possible. |

My thanks to Sharon for kindly agreeing to lead a second group on the road. We made good time and the Great Hill was looking very lovely as we approached. Actually the climb was really great and everyone conquered the challenge admirably. King of the Mountain - James!There was enticing talk about a possible pub stop on the way back, but in the end we decided the daylight was against us and so we slightly reluctantly passed by a number of idyllic village pubs on our way back to Grove. Thanks to all for a lovely evening adventure out in the Vale. | ||
