Heading east back to the Witney-Abingdon road with a good push from the wind.Turning right towards Witney then right again at the pubs through the traffic light going round the back of Standlake and turning left back towards Bampton. Turning left again on the back road to Shifford and Aston. Tea and cakes at the pottery with the view of a good storm out over the Brize Norton area but it never came our way. We headed home back the way we came but heading toward Chimney and up the hill to Buckland, through the village then crossing the A420 back through Charney Bassett, Denchworth and back into Grove. The cyclists were all seasoned riders and we completed 32 miles at a comfortable average speed of 13.5 miles an hour. | ||
