It was spitting gently when we set off and gradually got heavier as we made our way to Charney Bassett. Lorna turned back with a sore back at Denchworth and Henk left before Charney.We conferred. It didn't look like getting any better but probably wasn't going to get much worse either. So as all were wet already we decided to continue. Unfortunately, the rain gradually got heavier ... Miserable conditions, but it was not cold and it was at least good to be out in the fresh air. We had a brief stop under a large tree on Church green in Stanford, before returning via Park Lane and Asti stud. Back in Grove we went our separate and damp ways. A warm welcome to Dennis, who enjoyed the ride despite the weather. | ||
