Description:Our sociable and relaxed 1* evening rides continue with our longest ride of the season so far , following one of our classic Tuesday evening routes - to Kingston Lisle, a distance of about 16 miles. This is an opportunity to stretch our legs a bit during the long summer evenings.We'll go out via East Challow and the track to Childrey continuing on through Sparsholt and Westcot. Returning through the Vale via Goosey and Denchworth. Two short stretches along the A417. |

Report:Another delightful balmy summer evening to be out on the bike. Lorna and I travelled out to Challow via Downsview Road and the track past Crown up to Segsbury. We rendezvoused with Barbara on the track to Childrey and continued along the minor roads through the Springline villages to Westcot, enjoying the views up to the Downs and down into the Vale. We stopped for a rest by the manor in Kingston Lisle.Refreshed, we enjoyed the whizz down the hill and then with the wind on our backs glided back to Goosey. Here Barbara needed to make a decision concerning her route back. As the loop via Denchworth opened possibilities of a quick stop at the Fox, it wasn't difficult... | ||
