Description:Enjoy an easy-paced ride around the local lanes. 25 - 40km. May be hills on some weeks. Includes social stop at the Fox, Denchworth at the end of the ride.This rides route has changed from the one previously advertised. We will head to East Challow, along a bridal path to Childrey, through Sparsholt and Westcot, Kingston Lisle, Goosey and then onto the pub in Denchworth. The route may change if we encounter any delays, so we can make it to the pub on time. Please make sure you have lights on your bike as they will be required when heading back to Grove. We'll be collecting £5 voluntary donations from riders over the next few weeks to cover our costs for the AGM buffet and the website. Bring your wallets if you'd like to donate - it's the only source of income the club has. |

Riders:Adrian WestAndy Belcher Barry Baker Brian Hipwell Chris Walters David Bridge Edith Hipwell Ian Davies John Stamp John Talbot Susan Holdroyd Riders = 11 Report:A chilly evening, but good turnout for my first ever trip out as ride leader.Unfortunately we lost Ian due to a broken chain in Wantage and a few minutes later David had to retire due to a puncture. Luckily both riders were close to the start so were able to make their way back. The rest of the group enjoyed a leisurely paced ride down a few narrow tracks and around the country lanes, winding up at the pub in Denchworth where some of the group went home and the rest of us stayed for a well earned drink. Thanks Chris and John for keeping your eye out and helping with my first ride as ride leader | ||

- 4* - Suitable for athletic riders who can ride safely above the 3* standard. Quick rides for the fit.
