Skies opened for return leg with thunder and lightening overhead and torrential rain. New rider, Chris Hooker, said we were all mad and wasn't it great! Pat rode the newly acquired (6-legged) tandem which even he found a bit of a struggle up-hill; perhaps he needs reminding a tandem's meant for two and not a solo challenge! This bike had only been in our group's possession for less than 6 hours and found its way into my garage (already full of bicyles)!! Jane | ||
