Description:55km (40 miles) afternoon ride, with a tea stop, at a riding pace of ~18km/h (11-13mph). No major hills. Lights required to get back to Grove from the tea stop at Ardington.Grove, Charney Bassett, Longworth, Appleton, Besselsleigh, Cothill, Shippon, Abingdon, Drayton, Steventon Hill, West Hendred, Ginge, Ardington (cafe), Grove. |

Weather was windy which made some stretches of the ride much harder than others. The route we followed was almost exactly as planned except that we had to use the cafe at Key gardens (at the top of Steventon Hill) as we did not expect to get to Ardington in time. Arrived back just as it got dark. | ||
