Description:Heading north for an arc round Witney. A mix of small country lanes and some larger roads where we can stretch our legs. A few hills as we flirt with the fringes of the Cotswolds – plus the climb from Tadpole Bridge to Buckland – but nothing serious. Small section of bridle path. Tea stop at Bampton. Approx. 75km. Report:Cool conditions although no rain with a fairly stiff easterly breeze. A fast peleton. One unscheduled stop for Chris to rebuild John Tranter's back axle. Tea stop in Bampton. We added the extra piece through Aston and Great Brook lane to make the total distance almost exactly 80km. Back at 5.00. | ||
