Description:After the change of plan last Tuesday, floods permitting, we'll head for Charney Bassett this week, returning via Lyford and Denchworth, a flat 9 miles with the occasional stop to enjoy the views and points of interest along the way.Accompanied children and newcomers very welcome. These rides are designed to be a gentle and sociable introduction to group riding and to build rider confidence. |

Report:Another dry evening saw 5 of us on the 1* ride heading out to Charney Bassett by way of Denchworth. As it was fine and everyone was feeling in good fettle, we agreed to extend the ride by taking the long way round to Lyford by way of Sheephouse Farm and Ock Bridge. We had a brief rest by the almshouses at Lyford before continuing back to Grove getting back just before 8 and slightly ahead of the other groups. | ||
