Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Half day ride (45-55km / 30-40 miles), with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph).Heading south for a slightly hillier ride than normal, but well worth it for the lovely scenery (and the cakes). Over Hackpen Hill to Lambourn, then along the valley road to East Garston for a well earned stop at the legendary Priscilla's cafe. Then via Great Shefford to the gentle climb across towards Farnborough before we enjoy the big descent down Chain Hill. 28 miles / 45km |
