Description:A gentle ride around nearby villages - all welcome!These rides are designed to be a gentle and sociable introduction to group riding and to build rider confidence. As the name suggests, we aim to cover about 10 miles at a speed of about 10 miles per hour, stopping to rest and look at interesting things on the way. Accompanied children and newcomers very welcome. |

Report:The weather made a drastic improvement on recent Tuesdays (ie NO rain!) However, initially only 3 of us for the 10 Mile Club, so we tagged on to the 2* ride to begin with, being then joined at the start by Luke. (This saved me a bit as ride leader, especially as the 1* route was to be reinvented, the planned route for tonight was used last week due to the conditions (all forgiven Steve S!) Cycled as far as West Hendred with the 2* group, then three of us turned back for a shorter route back via Ardington and Lains Barn, with Lorna going on with the 2* group (Feeling fitter and with that new bike!)Very nice to have a dry ride after the dowsing of the last two Tuesdays! | ||
