Sadly the rain gods were not kind; a deluge just after 6pm put paid to hopes that we might have a dry enough evening to spend outside. Nevertheless it did clear enough to give us a gorgeous sunset later. There was a good variety of dishes: savoury, salad and sweet, so that no-one went hungry - a big thank you to all the cooks. The photo quiz of places in Oxfordshire caused some lively debate as to likely locations; and the "water, water everywhere..." quiz tested everyone's guess work. Yet again Peter H won by just one point from James. Thanks to Lorna and Mavis, the raffle raised £64 for Whizz-kidz. Our thanks to everyone for contributing to a most convivial evening. | ||
