Description:All-day 85km ride in the Cotswolds. 3 distinct hills, but nothing a seasoned Hackpen ascender can't deal with.We'll forage for lunch at a pub on the route when everyone is hungry, and the riding will be at a pace that everyone is happy with - if you can manage a longer 2* Saturday afternoon ride, then this should be an achievable step up. The weather was pretty overcast as we set off, later maturing into very pleasant sunshine. No incidents to report apart from losing a) a bit of a mudguard (Mila), b) a bottle cage (Nicole) and c) complete control of his bike (David B).Lunch was taken in Malmesbury at a couple of cafes so we didn't completely swamp them en masse. Well done to Susan who cycled her furthest ever distance and made it look easy! | ||
