The sun shone, hundreds turned up to cycle and there was a great atmosphere in the market place all day. Congratulations to Peter Burgess and all the team at Freewheeling for putting on such a wonderful event.Quite a few Wantage regulars took part in the rides and 4 of us helped to man the information desk - my thanks to Eve, Robin and Steve Boreham for their help. If you were there and I've missed you off the list on the left, please let me know. Update 25/4 - I understand from Peter B that some 370 people registered for the rides on Sunday, and there were quite a few more that tagged on to the groups as well. Amazing. Steve S | ||
