Description:A slightly longer route tonight at 30 miles (47km) but not intended to be “fast and furious”. Out to Abingdon via Denchworth and Steventon. Heading back to Grove via Frilford Heath, Fyfield, Hinton Waldrist, Gainfield, Charney Basset and Denchworth. There is a short section on the A420 near Fyfield.Lights definitely advisable. Please note the ride will be lead to the clubs 3* guidelines aiming to average 15 mph as the route is flatish. |

We met several other groups of cyclist on the road, obviousely everyone geting out while the sun shines! We caught up with the 2* group just before the railway bridge between Denchworth & Grove and the group split as some people went for the traditional Denchworth Dash and others stayed to chat with the 2* group. More on the other group when I hear it. | ||
