Description:I am going for hills on this one. Out via Wantage to Letcombe Regis, up Court Hill to the Ridgeway, down the A338 to Fawley and Woolley, then left at the monument over that exciting switchback. Then let's see how we feel - either straight on up the big hill to Brightwalton or left up the gradual hill to Farnborough. Either way, we finish off with the epic and fun descent of Chain Hill into Wantage. Back through Charlton to Grove.Around 20 miles / 30km. |

Report:Well, I must admit I wasn't looking forward to this, given the relentless rain all day beforehand. However, we more or less got lucky and just had a couple of light showers to contend with. All went according to plan, lots of hills and a great descent of Chain Hill to finish with.Worth mentioning Geoff's slightly disturbing habit of doing all the hills twice in the time the rest of us did them once. Bad for morale, but undeniably impressive... | ||
