Description:
Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise.

We cover a distance of about 10 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10 mph, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way.

This evening a classic 1star ride, a nice leisurely ride in the Vale of the White Horse. (Charney Bassett, West Hanney & Denchworth ring, if dry will consider West Hanney to Denchworth via farmer's tracks.)

Newcomers and returnees to cycling, and accompanied children very welcome.

Report:
Evening started overcast but brightened up for us. There was a good display of dog roses in the hedges between Charney Bassett and Lyford. An old brickworks on theWest Hanney to Denchworth track was viewed at a distance, in a very quiet location if anyone is interested. Thanks to Andy Belcher for undertaking sweeping duties. Stats 9.2mph/av & 75g fat burnt.
