Report:
What a perfect night for a ride - warm, still, very few cars and a pretty well-matched group, which was great considering it was 13 of us! Wheels seemed to roll almost effortlessly tonight.

No incidents save for the usual unreasonable cut-ins from hurrying drivers.

It was going so well we all agreed to add 10% on to the ride and continue on to Pusey, coming back via Charney Bassett. Overall the pace was excellent, a bit above what we expect for 3*, but everyone stayed together really well and we even had a little left for the Denchworth Dash, for which I have to thank Barry for his awesome lead-out ;-)

Oh, and for the plane-spotters tonight, it was pretty good in this department too... early arrivals at OMH were treated to the throaty roar of a P-51 Mustang circling Grove, we glimpsed 3 Italian Air Force Tornadoes, with their support refuelling tanker, the ever-present Merlin was practising whatever it practises high over the Vale, and back at OMH we had conversation interrupted by a cross between a hovercraft and a paraglider.

Why can't the weather be like this for all rides?
