Report:
9 riders set off on a ride with a difference. We undulated along the Icknield Way all the way past Bishopstone and dropped down through Bourton to our first little stop in Shrivenham for ice-cream.

The official tea stop was 15:00 in Longcot - arriving bang on time at Des and Chris's Ruby Wedding Anniversary picnic. Sadly, Des didn't quite get to "speechless", but being a jolly decent host and bon viveur, set about getting drinks into everyone's hands pretty promptly. After good company and probably one of the best "tea stops" ever, we headed back for a cruise through the Vale.

Congratulations to Chris and Des on 40 years of married life!

Distance:
53.90 km (33.49 mi)
