Description:Off-road ride around local tracks, usually about 15 miles. Knobbly tyres and good lights required. We are keen to welcome new riders and have spare lights available to borrow if you let me know.Dark, cold and wet - we'll ride in any 2. But please let me know if you are coming so I can tell you if I decide to cancel due to really bad weather. |

Report:A wonderful sunny evening.We went up to the Ridgeway via Crab Hill and Goddards Brook. Then split into 2 sections, with David, David, Pete and Richard going down at Ginge, then up, then following John and i who stayed on the Ridgeway to Scuthamer's Knob and the descent to the corner of Harwell Campus. We met again at the Bridge of Doom. It feels decidedly un-doom-like now. The main track down is much wider and smoother. So much so that David B and I tried riding up it, and succeeded for the first time in our MTBing careers! Then back home via Ardington and the same route. The brambles were out in force as we hammered back over Crab Hill. I picked up a nice couple of scratches on my arm from flying past them too close while chasing David Y.
