Report:We picked the tougher hills this time. (OK, i picked them and the rest put up with it!)Up to the Ridgeway by Crab Hill, Lark Hill and then the steep & grassy one that Chloe calls Sheep Hill as that's what is usually on it. (Not this time though, just grass and us). Terrifically, we all 4 made it up this steep long hill without putting a foot down. Showing the benefits of a summer of active pedalling! Then we went down past Baron Wantage to the Ginge descent. This was running very well again, with options whether to go straight down the middle or swoop to the left, right and left again through "informal" trails. Next we went on the the bridge of mild peril as I think i should call it now. Doom doesn't seem quite right when the slope is dry and smooth. We had a go at riding up it too. Scores were: David B: 2 out of 3 attempts Robin: 1 out of 3 David Y: 0 out of 1 John: 0 out of 0 I'm sure DY and JD will get there one day, but will Richard A do it first? Back via Lockinge and the usual route from there. Another evening of dry trails and lots of fun! | ||
